Dr. Ashok Kumar Choudhury is a hepatologist and liver transplant physician with expertise in the comprehensive management of liver and hepatobiliary diseases. His professional journey combines clinical care, academic medicine, research, international collaboration, and public health initiatives.

Dr. Ashok Kumar Choudhury has built his career at the intersection of clinical excellence, academic medicine, research, and global collaboration.

He completed his MBBS from SCB Medical College, Cuttack, in 2003, graduating as the Best Graduate of his batch and receiving three Gold Medals and three Honours. He subsequently pursued advanced training in hepatology and liver transplantation, including training at the Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences (ILBS), New Delhi, King's College Hospital, London, and Virginia Commonwealth University, USA.

His work spans patient care, liver transplantation, hepatology critical care, clinical research, medical education, and international multicentre collaborations.
